Cayla Kinnane

Speech Pathologist

Cayla holds a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Languages (Japanese, Korean) and Biomedical Science from the University of Queensland.

With experience in private practice, schools, and community settings, Cayla has supported children and adolescents across a range of areas. She has a special interest in working with children with disabilities, Autism, Multi Modal Communication (including High and Low tech AAC - Augmentative and Alternative Communication), language development, and feeding support. 

What Approach Does she take?

Cayla believes in the power of collaboration—working closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide meaningful, functional, and child-led support. She is passionate about creating a safe, playful, and engaging therapy environment where children feel confident to learn and grow.

She takes a neuro-affirming and holistic approach to support, tailoring support to each child and their family’s unique needs.

Above all, Cayla is a strong advocate for every child’s right to communicate in a way that works best for them.
